Chevre is French for goat so, of course, chevre is cheese made from goat's milk. Chevre is lower in calories and easier to digest than many other cheeses. Lucky Penny chevre is delicate, soft and creamy with a mild tangy flavor.

Wonderful with crackers, bread, and with vegetables, especially Tiny Tim tomatoes topped with a wisp of mint.

Serve as an appetizer, over pasta, with herbs, on toast with jam or marmalade, as a dessert cheese, in salads, or in recipe of choice.
 
Chevre pairs well with acidic fruits, especially oranges, as well as grapes, apples, pears, figs and nuts.
